Glass pads are often misunderstood; Seen as too fast, too loud, or difficult to control. Odyssey challenges that. By carefully tuning the relationship between initial friction and dynamic friction, we've created a surface that feels fast when you need it, and controlled when it matters most.

Included for performance with each Odyssey is a pack of X-Raypad U9 Air skates. Specifically selected to complement the micro-etched surface for enhanced surface feedback, allowing you to better feel and respond to micro-adjustments in real time. Glass pads don't have to feel 'floaty'.

Importance of Skates

With glass mousepads, the skates you use are just as crucial as the pad itself. The friction between skates and glass can lead to a "scratchy" experience. Additionally, traditional 100% PTFE skates, like stock skates, wear down quickly on glass and tend to be noisier. That’s why every unit of Odyssey comes with U9 air skates, which enhance glide, improve durability and significantly reduce noise.
